Personal Insights
Despite the popular belief that everyone is moving out of New Jersey, many residents still find it a great place to live. I, for example, live in a small quaint town in Southern New Jersey and love it here. We are fortunate to have a rebate program and the property tax freeze program, which helps in financial stability. The excellent employment and volunteer opportunities, along with entertainment venues and the beaches, make this a fantastic area to reside in.
The town may have some of the worst roads, but Burlington County is proactive in addressing these issues and keeps the local roads in excellent condition. There is also a top-notch county park system, further enhancing the quality of life.
For those who complain, I recommend crossing the river to Pennsylvania or New York. The drivers and roads in those states can be quite challenging compared to the organized traffic and excellent roads found in New Jersey.
