Riding in Glassell Park

I live on a narrow street in the hills of Glassell Park. It's lovely up here because I'm ensconced in nature. It's tranquil and quiet with a steady breeze coming from the southeast and a killer view. Transportation up here is kind of like having a mile-long driveway. If the streets are clear, it takes about six minutes of twists, turns, and stop signs from my home to a main road, which in my case is either Eagle Rock Blvd. or San Fernando Rd.

One must always be cautious of pedestrians, dog walkers, and other drivers. Usually, two oncoming vehicles can politely negotiate past each other, but in certain places, backing up can't be avoided. Getting stuck behind a large truck or someone who seems lost or is hyper-cautious can be taxing to one's patience. However, I still say it's worth the climb. The views and the serene environment make it all worthwhile.
