Perspectives on Kerala's Support for the BJP

As a Hindu Malayalee, my personal stance on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is a mixed bag. Politicians who promote Hindi exclusively in Delhi lack the breadth of understanding necessary to represent the diverse linguistic tapestry of India. In my view, Sanskrit should be the common language of India, as proposed by B.R. Ambedkar and further echoed by Sathya Sai Baba. This language, according to Baba, not only serves as the bridge for AI integration but also holds the potential to be the global language in the future, surpassing English.

BJP - An Analysis Beyond Cultural Nationalism

BJP, often referred to as an anti-Muslim party, does not solely represent cultural nationalism but also practices that go beyond linguistic and cultural policies. The party has been accused of corruption, favoring friends and relatives, and imposing a uniform culture throughout India. Such toxic ideologies not only lead to division but also hamper the progress of a country.

My belief is that while the BJP might be a slightly better party in terms of governance, the ideological framework it promotes is problematic. Modi himself, despite his leadership qualities, aligns with a party ideology that is deeply entrenched in religious nationalism. This can be a significant obstacle for India's progress and unity. It is crucial to support parties and leaders who work for the overall betterment of the nation rather than catering to specific religious identities.
