Precious Memories from My Engineering College Life in India

Precious Memories from My Engineering College Life in India

My journey in engineering college began on 20th August, 2015, when I entered Arya College Main Campus. This marked a new chapter in my life, full of challenges, chaos, and diverse experiences.

The First Day and New Beginnings

On that first day, I arrived at the main campus, and immediately I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation. Hungry, I headed straight to the canteen where I saw various groups of people sipping on their cold drinks. I hesitated, but eventually, I placed an order for a plate of French fries and a Coca-Cola. As I sat under a banyan tree, waiting for my order, I reflected on how my new phase of life would shape me as a person.

First Fest and Club Involvement

The last semester of my first year was a time of firsts. I participated in every fest and club, feeling excited and eager to try new things. One of the highlights was Silicon, the annual techno-cultural fest organized by Arya College Main Campus. I used to spend my break time attending meetings of the clubs, practicing, and getting ready for the fest. It was a time full of fun and camaraderie.

The Pressure of Exams and Last-Minute Chaos

As the exams approached, the pressure was palpable. We did not study consistently; instead, we waited until the last day to start. During the last day before the exams, I faced a dilemma, not knowing where to start or how to finish studying in just one night. In the end, I resorted to last-minute scanning for notes. When the exams began, I felt a sense of panic since I hadn't studied at all. On the first question, I went blank, searching everywhere for help.

Lessons and Growth Through Difficult Times

Despite the chaos and stress, engineering life taught me valuable lessons. Last-minute preparation, working for the fest, and even bunking classes were all part of my daily routine. These experiences allowed me to live a vibrant and fulfilling life. Reflecting on those years, I realize they were formative, teaching me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of not cramming everything at the last minute.

In summary, my engineering college life in India was a whirlwind of emotions, experiences, and growth. The lessons I learned during those challenging years have stayed with me and continue to shape me as a person.
