The True Path of Islam: Submission to Allah and Compassion

In this modern world, the term Islam has been often misunderstood and misused. Being a true Muslim is not just about stating faith in the oneness of God and the finality of Muhammad's prophethood. It is much deeper than that. A true Muslim is one who submits themselves wholly and fully to Allah and lives on the path of truth, justice, and compassion.

Submission to Allah and the Just Path

A true Muslim embarks on a journey of total submission to Allah, aligning their life with His path. This path is just, compassionate, and ensures the help of Allah. Sadly, in our world today, it seems that very few are following this path. Instead, many seem to rely on institutional and economic systems that often violate the dignity and rights of millions of people, many of whom are women and children. This reliance on such systems contradicts the core principles of Islam. It is a betrayal of the true path that leads to the path of Hellfire.

Living Off-Grid in Occultica

I have experienced and learned many things since becoming Muslim. In pursuit of the true path, I recently discovered a village in Indonesia that lives completely off the grid. This village does not rely on products that violate the rights of millions of people, most of whom are women and children. If this village is indeed the only true expression of the Islamic faith left on earth, then it signifies the potential for a new golden age of Islam, marked by the freedom from systems of tyranny and oppression.

Understanding the Term "Muslim"

The word Muslim has its roots in Arabic and was redefined by the Prophet Muhammad. A true Muslim is one who not only has knowledge of truth but also follows the path of truth. The conduct of a Muslim should be imbued with compassion and respect for all creations of Allah, be they humans, animals, or anything else on this earth.

Commitment to Truth and Justice

Violence and abuse of power against children of Allah (God) are not actions of a true Muslim. This includes acts such as rape, murder, kidnapping, torture, looting, and deceit. These actions contradict the very essence of Islam. Everyone, regardless of their beliefs or lack thereof, is a child of Allah. Each person's dignity and human rights are sacred and must be upheld.

Submission to Allah and Obedience to God's Will

In the most literal sense, being a Muslim means submission. A true Muslim is one who submits to Allah with absolute obedience, choosing to live a life that follows Allah's guidance rather than their own desires. The true Muslim must break free from the chains of their own desires and act in accordance with their faith. Adherence to the broader cultural, legal, or societal norms of Islam is secondary to this core submission to God's will. This state of mind and way of life is what truly defines a true Muslim.

Conclusion

The journey towards being a true Muslim is one of knowledge, compassion, and adherence to the path of truth. It is a path that requires the breaking of self-centered desires and the submission to the will of Allah. If we can find, support, and follow the true expressions of this path, we can free the world from systems of tyranny and oppression, ushering in a new golden age of compassion and justice.
